Maria Costa

Maria Costa, CPA, has extensive experience in accounting and assurance, beginning as an Accounting Intern in the Accounts Payable Department at Coastal Carolina University. Responsibilities included invoice analysis and payment tracking. Maria also served as an Accounting Tutor, supporting student-athletes in academic success while coaching time management and study skills. Subsequent positions included Assurance Intern and Assurance Staff at Ernst & Young, progressing to Assurance Manager, and Assurance Senior. Experience also encompasses a Payroll Intern role at Hillsborough Board of Education, where payroll processing for over 650 teachers was managed. Maria holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and a Master of Accountancy from Coastal Carolina University.
