Mark Lawther

Mark Lawther currently serves as a Partner at EY, where employment began in March 2018, with a progression through roles including Director and Senior Manager. Mark is also the Vice Chair and a Main Committee Member of the Chartered Accountants Ulster Society, holding these positions since April 2016. From April 2018 to June 2022, Mark was the Ulster Society Member Services Convenor for Chartered Accountants Ireland Ulster Society. Prior experience includes Senior Manager and Manager roles at Deloitte from August 2007 to March 2018, after completing a training contract and attaining a Manager title in 2012. Mark began a career in accounting as an Accountant with Kearney and Co Chartered Accountants in 2006 and also served as a Committee Member for the Chartered Accountants Ireland Ulster Society Young Professional Group from 2014 to 2016. Mark holds a BSc in Accounting from Queen's University Belfast and completed Chartered Accountant Exams with Chartered Accountants Ireland.
