Mathew Chamberlain

Mathew Chamberlain is a Partner in International Tax and Transaction Services at EY, where they have specialised since 2010 in advising on the tax affairs of Australian companies investing offshore and foreign companies investing into Australia, with a focus on the oil and gas services and shipping industries. Their expertise extends to international tax reform and foreign investment, particularly within the resources sector. Mathew is actively involved in promoting education and tax reform as a long-time member and frequent presenter for the Tax Institute (TTI), where they also served as Chairperson of the WA State Council in 2011 and 2012. They have lectured on tax law at both the University of Western Australia and Curtin University. Mathew holds a Masters of Laws from The University of Western Australia and a Bachelor of Economics and Law from the University of Tasmania.
