Matthew O'Connor

Matthew O'Connor is a seasoned marketing professional with extensive experience in employer branding and talent attraction strategy, currently serving as Assistant Director and Employer Brand Manager for EY in Northern Ireland since October 2024. Prior to this role, Matthew held multiple positions at Synergy Learning, progressing from Marketing Manager to Marketing and Communications Manager, where significant contributions were made in expanding the marketing function and aligning communication strategies. Earlier experience includes brand management at Bunk Campers, heading marketing at Digital DNA HQ, and various roles at Spiral Hosting Ltd and Next Group PLC, providing a strong foundation in marketing operations and HR. Matthew holds a Foundation degree in Digital Marketing Essentials from the Chartered Institute of Marketing and a BA in Criminology & Social Policy from Queen's University Belfast.
