Matthew Stevens

Matthew Stevens is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in the field. As a Principal at Ernst & Young since May 2012, Matthew has demonstrated expertise in providing legal and advisory services. Prior experience includes serving as a Partner at Alston & Bird LLP from July 2007 to May 2012, and as Counsel at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP from 2005 to 2007. Matthew also held the position of Managing Director at Bear Stearns from 2004 to 2005. Academically, Matthew earned a Juris Doctorate from Harvard Law School between 1987 and 1990, following a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Kansas, completed in 1987.
