Max Kaufman

Max Kaufman is a Climate Change and Sustainability Consultant who obtained a Bachelor of Science in Earth and Atmospheric Sciences from Cornell University in 2023. They served as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Cornell, where they conducted a life cycle assessment of the university’s emissions and contributed to its carbon neutrality initiative. Max also held roles as a Research Assistant at the University of California, Santa Cruz, focusing on seismicity related to fracking and slow slip events. They have experience as an Orientation Leader, guiding freshmen through their transition to college, and worked with various organizations, including Lyft and EY, in sustainability-focused positions.
