Max Kronenberg

Max Kronenberg is an experienced tax professional with a strong background in both domestic and international tax matters. Starting a career as a Transaction Lawyer at Clifford Chance LLP from October 2013 to September 2014, Max provided advice on various tax issues related to M&A transactions, tax due diligence, and tax structuring, focusing on clients such as funds and financial institutions. Following this, Max served as a Senior Manager at EY from October 2014 to June 2022, becoming a tax account leader for a DAX company, before returning to EY as a Partner in January 2025. Since July 2022, Max has been working as an Inhouse Tax Advisor at RAG Aktiengesellschaft, where Max plays a key role in the group's tax department responsible for managing the financial obligations of the German hard coal mining industry. Max holds a Bachelor of Laws degree in Business Law from Hochschule Fresenius University of Applied Sciences and an MBA in International Taxation from Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg im Breisgau.
