Melissa Sim is a seasoned financial reporting specialist with over 25 years of experience in accounting and auditing roles. Currently a partner at the IFRS Desk at EY, Melissa has extensive knowledge of Australian accounting standards and IFRS. Previously, they held various positions at Deloitte, including Manager at the IFRS Centre of Excellence in Paris and Principal in Australia. Melissa is passionate about effectively communicating complex accounting issues and developing helpful tools, with expertise in business combinations, income taxes, and first-time adoption of IFRS. Melissa earned a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Melbourne.
