Michael Abel

Michael Abel is a seasoned transformation and consulting executive with over 20 years of experience in Australia’s banking and financial services sector. Michael has held significant leadership roles, including General Manager of Mortgage Services at Perpetual Limited, where revenue was doubled to $30M per annum, and as Managing Director of Lawpoint, where profitability and revenue also increased by over 100%. Currently serving as Associate Partner at EY, Michael leads large-scale banking transformation programs across Australia and New Zealand. Additional roles include CEO of Espreon Property Services, Managing Director at Accenture Australia, and various technology-focused positions prior to 2002, alongside current tutoring responsibilities at the University of Technology Sydney. Michael holds degrees from MIT Sloan School of Management, Yale University, and the New York Institute of Technology.
