Michael Chan

Michael Chan is a Director at EY since November 2022, bringing extensive experience in corporate planning and business development. Prior to EY, Michael served as AVP of Corporate Planning at Singapore Press Holdings from 2010 to November 2022, where responsibilities included developing strategic initiatives and establishing joint ventures to enhance asset value. As a Senior Manager in Business Development, Michael supported growth objectives through strategic investments and presented cases to C-Suite and Board members. Earlier in career, Michael held a managerial position at the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore, liaising with shipping companies on available incentives, and worked at Ernst & Young from 2004 to 2009 in Transaction Advisory Services, leading over 50 due diligence projects across the Asia Pacific. Michael holds a Bachelor of Accountancy from Nanyang Technological University Singapore.
