Michael Gonzales

Michael Gonzales is an accounting and risk professional with extensive experience in financial accounting, auditing, and banking regulation. Currently a partner in EY's Professional Practice group, Michael focuses on developing audit methodologies for blockchain-based activities and digital assets while also serving on various industry working groups. Previously, they have held roles such as Associate Practice Fellow at the Financial Accounting Standards Board and Professional Accounting Fellow at the Federal Reserve Board, contributing significant expertise in the areas of risk management and regulatory compliance. Michael earned a Master's degree in Accountancy from the University of Notre Dame and a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from the University of Southern California, both with magna cum laude honors.
