Michael McDermott

Michael McDermott is a Managing Director at EY in the Global Compliance & Reporting group, where they have worked since 2001. With 18 years of experience in public accounting, Michael specializes in preparing federal tax returns, tax provisions, and assisting with audits of clients' financial statements. They actively participate in recruiting efforts for EY's South Florida tax practice and have a strong background in managing large tax outsourcing engagements. Michael holds a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, summa cum laude, and a Master's in Taxation from Florida State University, where they also served as a Teaching Assistant.
