Mitchell Kops

Mitchell Kops is a Principal at EY, leading the International Tax and Transactions - Private Company group within the firm's US National Tax Department. With nearly 25 years of experience as an international tax advisor, Kops previously served as a partner at Withers Bergman for 17 years, where they were the global head of the tax practice. They joined EY in June 2017 to focus on advising US and international companies, high-net-worth individuals, and private equity fund managers on various tax matters. Kops holds an LLM in Taxation from New York University School of Law and a JD from Fordham University School of Law, alongside a BA in Philosophy from the University of Virginia.
