Neil Maree

Neil Maree is a Partner in the Financial Services Africa unit at EY, where they focus on providing assurance and advisory services to clients in the banking sector. Previously, they served as an Audit Manager at Ernst & Young from 1998 to 2003 and held various roles at the South African Reserve Bank from 2010 to 2013, including Assistant General Manager in the Risk Division. Neil gained extensive experience in risk management and regulatory frameworks while working as Senior Manager of Risk Capital at Standard Bank from 2003 to 2010. They hold a B Com (Hons) in Accounting and CTA from the University of Pretoria and are a qualified CA(SA).
