Ray O'Connor

Ray O’Connor is a Tax Partner in EY’s Financial Services Organisation in Ireland, bringing 35 years of expertise in the taxation of financial services. They specialize in banking tax matters, providing advisory services on a range of issues that include tax policy, corporate tax, and operational tax matters. Prior to their role at EY, Ray held leadership positions within Ireland's largest banking groups, including Head of Taxation at AIB, and served as a Tax Consultant at Price Waterhouse. Ray earned a degree in Mathematics and History from University College Dublin, along with diplomas in Accounting and Corporate Treasury from Dublin City University. They are also a member of the Irish Taxation Institute.
