Robert Haniver is a Partner in EY Law Ireland’s Technology and Commercial team, where they lead the data protection and cybersecurity legal practice. They specialize in technology, data laws, cybersecurity, and commercial law, advising on compliance projects and the rollout of technologies. Prior to joining EY, Robert held positions at LK Shields Solicitors LLP as a Senior Associate and at Mason Hayes & Curran as a Commercial Lawyer. They began their legal career as a Solicitor and Irish & European Trade Mark Attorney at O'Rourke Reid Law Firm. Robert is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Business and Legal at University College Dublin, along with studies in Corporate Law and Governance at the Law Society of Ireland and earning an MCSE from the Computer Network Institute - Siemens Nixdorf.
