Ryan Cantwell

Ryan Cantwell is a seasoned professional in the fields of renewable and conventional energy finance, currently serving as Director of Oceania Renewable M&A & Structured Products Leadership at EY since October 2015. Ryan's responsibilities include comprehensive advisory services for energy projects and contracting arrangements across Australia and New Zealand. Prior experience includes roles as Associate Director in Project Finance at Mizuho, where Ryan focused on asset management and transaction origination, and as a Financial Analyst at Transurban, responsible for capital markets engagement. Earlier in the career, Ryan held various managerial positions at ANZ and served as Assistant Manager at ASB Bank, specializing in credit evaluation. Ryan holds a Master of Economics from Macquarie University and a Bachelor of Commerce with double majors in Finance and Accounting from the University of Otago.
