Shane Halai

Shane Halai is currently a Manager in Economic Advisory at EY, where they advise the UK government on the Economic Regulatory Regime for CCUS transport and storage companies. From 2015 to 2022, Shane worked as an Economic Advisor at the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero, leading analyses on various policy areas, including the development of business models supporting industrial emitters and delivering emergency financial support during the Covid-19 pandemic. Shane holds a Master of Science in Economics with Distinction from Birkbeck, University of London, earned in 2015.
