Sofia Stoican has extensive professional experience in performance improvement, having served as a Manager at Ernst & Young Romania from November 2007 to September 2014 and later as a Senior Manager and then Associate Partner at EY from October 2014 to July 2021. Sofia's expertise encompasses EU policies and funding instruments, with a focus on public sector projects, evaluation and monitoring of public policies, and management of EU-funded programs. Sofia also possesses credentials as a Certified Internal Auditor, Certified Government Auditing Professional, and Certified Project Manager (Prince 2). Educational qualifications include a degree in Business Administration and a degree in Accounting and Management Information Systems from the Academy of Economic Studies in Bucharest.
