Stefan Hempelmann

Stefan Hempelmann is an experienced tax professional currently serving as an Associate Partner in International Tax & Transaction Services at EY since October 2021. Prior to this role, Stefan held various positions at KPMG Australia, including International Tax Director and Senior Manager International Tax, from November 2017 to July 2021. Earlier experience includes positions at EY and Ernst & Young, where Stefan progressed from International Tax Manager to Senior Manager, and a Tax Consultant role at Dussmann AG & Co. KGaA. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Australian and international tax from the University of Sydney, a Master of Science in Taxation & Accounting from Mannheim Business School, and a Bachelor's degree in Taxation & Accounting from the Berlin School of Economics.
