Stephen LaGarde

Stephen LaGarde is a Principal in the National Tax Department’s Compensation and Benefits Group at EY, advising clients on executive compensation, tax-favored retirement plans, health and welfare plans, and fringe benefits. They have spent the majority of their career in the national tax departments of Big 4 accounting firms, including Deloitte and Ernst & Young LLP, as well as the U.S. Treasury Department's Office of Benefits Tax Counsel. Currently, LaGarde serves as an Adjunct Professor at Georgetown University Law Center. They hold a law degree from Georgetown University Law Center, obtained in 2007.
