Thomas Smit

Thomas Smit is a dedicated tax accountant with over 10 years of experience in tax preparation and auditing. They began their career as a Junior Consultant at Ernst & Young, where they prepared and reviewed tax returns for both Dutch and foreign multinationals. Thomas progressed to the position of Senior Tax Consultant at EY, focusing on US GAAP, IFRS, and local GAAP tax provisions, along with various audit responsibilities. Currently, they serve as the Senior Manager of Tax Accounting and Risk Advisory Services at EY in Stockholm. Thomas holds a Bachelor's degree in management economics and law from Hogeschool voor Economische Studies Amsterdam and a degree in Tax Law/Taxation from the University of Amsterdam.
