Thomas Speidel is a statistician and data scientist who grew up in Milan, Italy, and later moved to Boston, Massachusetts, before settling in Halifax, Nova Scotia. They discovered a passion for data while completing a degree in Statistics with a focus on Biostatistics. For a decade, Thomas served as an applied cancer statistician, contributing to important analyses that improved patient care in transplantation units. Currently, they work as a Senior Manager at EY, continuing to apply their expertise in data science and statistical modeling. Outside of work, Thomas is dedicated to cancer research and enjoys spending quality time with their three children.
