Tim Benbow

Tim Benbow is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in R&D tax advisory services, currently serving as a Partner at EY since March 2008. In this role, Tim focuses on developing talent within the R&D tax and technology incentives team, managing client relationships, and overseeing risk management. Tim began a career as a Scientist at Isotrace NZ Ltd from 2004 to 2008, where responsibilities included developing a commercial GC-C-IRMS service offering. Additionally, Tim has been a member of the Research and Development Advisory Group to the New Zealand Government since December 2018, providing strategic advice on R&D tax policy. Tim holds a PhD in Analytical & Environmental Chemistry and a BSc in Chemistry and Geology from the University of Otago.
