Timothy Gowens

Timothy B. Gowens is a Partner in Ernst & Young's Business Tax Services practice based in Houston, where they have worked since 2002. Before joining Ernst & Young, they were a Senior in Tax at Arthur Andersen from 1999 to 2002. Timothy has extensive industry experience in oil & gas, oil field services, coal, refining, pipelines, and engineering & construction, serving a variety of entity types including multinational corporations and private equity funds. They are also a CPA in Texas and frequently lead internal and external trainings on tax-related matters. Timothy earned Bachelor degrees in Accounting and Finance and a Master’s in Accounting from Abilene Christian University.
