Tom Garside

Tom Garside is an Associate Partner at EY, where responsibilities include leading the South Africa Turnaround and Restructuring Strategy. Since joining EY in October 2014, Tom has held various roles, including Director and Associate Director, focusing on restructuring services for lenders and distressed corporations across Sub-Saharan Africa. Prior experience includes roles at KPMG UK, where Tom was involved in mid-market restructuring solutions, and a secondment as project lead for an operational turnaround at ASIG. Further background includes a portfolio management role at Lloyds Banking Group and serving in HM Forces within the UK Ministry of Defence. Tom holds a BA (Hons) in Geography from the University of Southampton and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
