Yusuf Abed

Yusuf Abed is the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer of Assurance - Africa, as well as a Partner at Ernst & Young South Africa in Johannesburg. Since 2018, Yusuf has focused on IFRS, ISAE 3402, capital markets, and assurance services across various sectors including industrial, pharmaceutical, and motor vehicle financing. Prior to this role, Yusuf served as the Chief Operating Officer of audit at KPMG South Africa and held various leadership positions in the audit sector. Yusuf earned a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and a CTA in Accounting from the University of South Africa after completing their secondary education at Springs Secondary School.
