Vegard Johnsen

Vegard Johnsen is the Chief Product Officer at eyeo since August 2023, where responsibilities include leading the product organization, establishing an aligned product portfolio strategy, and collaborating with various teams. Prior to this role, Vegard held several positions at Google from December 2013 to August 2023, including Director of Product Management for Google Ads, where leadership involved compliance with the EU’s Digital Markets Act and negotiations with the European Commission. Vegard also served as Senior/Group Product Manager for monetizing the internet, creating the largest Consent Management Platform in the market, and was Product Manager for Ad Traffic Quality, developing advanced solutions against advertising fraud. Earlier experience includes Chief Operating Officer at spider.io, an associate/advisor role at Hereford Capital Ltd, and lead consultant at Stroud Consulting. Vegard holds a Master’s Degree in Engineering from the University of Cambridge.
