Michael Siva

Michael Siva has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Michael started their career as a Cost Assistant at Colombo Land & Development Company Plc, where they assisted the Management Accountant in project feasibility and budgets for major projects. Michael then worked as a Trainee Accountant at PwC Sri Lanka, focusing on external audits for various clients. Michael later joined Morganland (Pvt) Ltd, initially as an Assistant Accountant and then as an Accountant, specializing in coconut milk and organic fruit processing for export.

In 2015, they joined Atman Group (Pvt) Ltd as a Management Accountant, eventually being promoted to Senior Management Accountant and then Group Finance Manager. At Atman Group, they headed the Corporate Finance/Investment team and the Accounting Shared Services team, advising the board on investment strategies, managing financial risk, and ensuring compliance.

Michael also worked briefly as a Lecturer at ESOFT Metro Campus before becoming a Director at Daylight Sparks (Pvt) Ltd, a subsidiary of Atman Group. Currently, they serve as the Chief Financial Officer at Eyepax, where they lead a team of IT professionals in providing technology solutions to companies worldwide.

Michael Siva completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of West London in the year 2015. From 2010 to 2013, they studied Management Accounting at The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants. In 2017, Michael pursued the CPA Australia Program and became a CPA Member with a specialization in Accounting. Michael also completed the ACCA qualification in Financial Accounting and Tax from 2014 to 2021. Additionally, in 1995, they obtained their GCE A/L from S.Thomas College. In terms of certifications, Michael has obtained multiple certifications in various subjects such as Raising Capital, Commercial Real Estate Analysis, Personal Branding, Pitching to Investors, SEO for Social Media, Algorithmic Trading and Stocks, Corporate Finance, Real Estate Deal Structuring, and Social Media Marketing for Real Estate. These certifications were obtained from institutions like LinkedIn and the AICPA, with the most recent certification being the "Foundations of Raising Capital" from LinkedIn in March 2021.
