James Weatherhead

James Weatherhead joined EyeTracking in 2003 as President, CTO and Board Member. During his tenure, he has led the technical development and commercialization of several of EyeTracking’s key products, including building an international sales team and inventing several of EyeTracking’s key patents.

Prior to EyeTracking, James worked as a Scientist in the Center for Human Sciences and the Defence Evaluation and Research Agency (UK MoD), primarily focusing on advanced human-machine integration with next generation fast jets.

Later he worked as IT Team Leader at QinetiQ , Europe’s largest defense contractor, leading a technical team building fast jet and UAV simulators and prototyping advanced human machine interface concepts, building and prototyping new airport security screening concepts and more.

James received a BSc. (Hons) in Computer Science from the University of Portsmouth (United Kingdom), and is a Chartered Engineer and Chartered IT Professional.
