Gilbert Lim

Gilbert Lim is a distinguished professional in the field of artificial intelligence and healthcare, currently serving as Chief AI Scientist and Co-Founder at EyRIS since February 2018. Lim has held significant roles at SingHealth as Senior AI Scientist, contributing to the AI Health Program from October 2021 to April 2025, and at Duke-NUS Medical School, where Lim serves as an Assistant Professor in the SingHealth Duke-NUS Ophthalmology & Visual Sciences Academic Clinical Programme. Prior positions include Research Fellow at the Singapore National Eye Centre and National University of Singapore, where Lim progressed from Research Assistant to Senior Research Fellow. Gilbert Lim holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science, a Master of Arts in English Language and Linguistics, and dual Bachelor's degrees in Computing and Economics, all from the National University of Singapore.
