José Palacio

José Palacio has extensive work experience in the field of IT and management. José currently works at EZCORP as an IT Director in the LATAM region. Prior to this, they held the position of Manager II, International Technology at Walmart, where they also served as a Global Infrastructure & Operations Programme Manager. Before Walmart, José worked at GAM Maquinaria as the IT Head for LATAM and at Kraft Foods as an IT Manager for LATAM. José began their career at Kendle International as a Network Administrator and later worked at Schindler Elevator Corporation as a Network Administrator. José's earliest experience was as a Gerente de Sistemas at Paulinas Beads, where they managed IT staff and infrastructure. José has demonstrated strong leadership skills and experience in project management, staff management, and infrastructure development throughout their career.

José Palacio holds a Master's degree in Computer/Information Technology Administration and Management from Universidad de las Américas Puebla, which they completed from 2008 to 2010. Prior to this, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, from 1996 to 2003. José also earned another Bachelor's degree in Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications from Intercom, which they completed from 2000 to 2002. Additionally, José has obtained numerous certifications, including Cryptocurrency Foundations, Agile Product Owner Role, and Fundamentos de la ciberseguridad para profesionales IT, among others.
