Scott Widham

Scott Widham has a diverse and extensive work experience in the telecommunications industry. Scott is currently the Founder and CEO of Ezee Fiber, where they provide advisory services to strategic and financial institutions in the telecom sector. Scott specializes in areas such as data centers, fiber, towers, wireless, managed services, and cable.

Prior to founding Ezee Fiber, Widham served as the President of Neverfail in 2018. Scott was responsible for leading the company during that period.

From 2011 to 2017, Widham was the CEO of Alpheus Communications. Scott identified Alpheus as a target acquisition and successfully built fiber connections to over 3,000 buildings while adding seven data centers. Under their leadership, they developed enterprise and government verticals, leading to increased cash flow and enterprise value.

Before Alpheus, Widham founded and served as CEO of Cobridge Communications LLC from 2007 to 2011.

Scott also held the position of Co-CEO at Broadwing Communications from 2001 to 2007. During their tenure, they played a key role in managing the company through a major management transition, leading to its sale to Level 3.

Widham's career began in 1980 when they joined Warner Amex Satellite Entertainment Company as a Regional Director. Scott opened a Midwest office in Chicago, managing sales and affiliate relations for The Movie Channel, Nickelodeon, and MTV in the Central United States and Canada.

In 1983, Widham joined Cencom Cable Associates as the Vice President of Operations. Scott oversaw all aspects of daily operations, including P&L, budgeting, municipal relations, marketing, engineering, and customer service.

Their first entrepreneurial venture was in 1988 when they founded Capital Cable, Inc. As the Founder, President, and CEO, they raised a $48 million blind pool for a roll-up of rural cable television businesses. Scott successfully bought and sold multiple cable television properties and developed an Internet business called Webchoice.

Scott Widham attended the Colegio Americano in Puebla, Mexico from 1972 to 1975, where they obtained a High School Degree.
