Alex Chen is a co-founder and CEO of EZTABLE, one of Asia's largest online restaurant reservation platforms, which they have led since 2008. They have successfully sold over 2,000 high-end restaurants, achieving annual revenue of $15 million, and raised more than $15 million in venture capital funding. Prior to EZTABLE, Alex worked as a quantitative analyst at Deutsche Bank, where they analyzed fixed income securities, and as an interest rate risk analyst at WesCorp, focusing on portfolio performance. They earned a B.S. in Applied Mathematics with a concentration in Actuarial Science from the University of California, Los Angeles, between 2003 and 2005. Alex was recognized as one of the "40 under 40" by Cheers Magazine in 2013.
