Alex S.

Alex S. has been working in the IT industry since 2006. Alex began their career as a Designer of Optical Paths Routes for Cellular Operators and System Administrator at LLC "VIP Com". In 2007, they moved to TEC Ekvator, Chernivtsi (Kviza Trade) as Chief of IT Department and Senior IT Engineer. In 2009, they were invited to create "from scratch" IT infrastructure to prepare for the opening of one of the largest Ukrainian commercial entertainment and exhibition centers at LLC "Boyanivka", Trading-entertaining complex "Panorama". In 2012, they joined Radical Computing Corporation as a DevOps Engineer. In 2013, they took on the role of Senior DevOps Engineer / Team Lead at IT Future Company. Finally, in 2014, they were promoted to Site Reliability Engineer - Team Lead at EZ Texting. In this role, Alex mentored, led, and supervised a team of 4-6 site reliability engineers, delegated tasks and set deadlines, oversaw day-to-day operations, monitored team performance and reported on metrics, and motivated team members. Alex also developed a plan, tested, and performed a few major software migrations.

Alex S. obtained a Master's degree in Information Communication Networks from Chernivci National 'Juriy Fedkovyc' University in 2010. In 2011, they obtained LPIC-1 certification from Linux Professional Institute. In 2013, they obtained LPIC-2 certification from Linux Professional Institute. In 2019, they obtained Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) and Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) certifications from Scrum Alliance. Alex also holds CompTIA Linux+, Data Center Technical Specialist, and Novell Certified Linux Administrator (NCLA) certifications.
