Deputy Director, F-35 Acquisition And Integration at F-35 Joint Program Office

Michael Bridge has a diverse work experience in the defense industry. Michael held a role as the Deputy Director, F-35 Acquisition and Integration for the F-35 Joint Program Office starting in 2023. Prior to that, they were an Acquisition Manager for the United States Air Force from 2022 to 2023. From 2019 to 2022, they worked at the F-35 Joint Program Office as the Lead for Acquisition Reporting and Audits and also served as the Deputy for Acquisition Management. Before that, they held roles at the United States Air Force as the Air Force Distributed Common Ground System (AF DCGS) Open Architecture Team Lead and the F-15S to SA Conversion Program Manager. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Senior Project Analyst at Yulista Aviation, Inc. and as a Senior Staff Analyst at ARINC. Michael also gained experience in technology as the Assistant Vice President, Technology Team at the Project Management Institute - Atlanta Chapter. Michael began their career in the Georgia Air National Guard as the NCOIC, Data Link Operations and later as the Supervisor, Standardizations/Evaluations. Michael served as the NCOIC, Training Operations for the United States Air Force before transitioning to the defense industry.

Michael Bridge obtained their Associate's Degree in Information Technology from the Community College of the Air Force from 2003 to 2007. Michael then went on to complete their Bachelor's degree in Professional Aeronautics at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University from 2005 to 2007. In 2012, Michael earned their Master's degree in Public Administration from Georgia College & State University. Additionally, they have acquired several certifications including ARINC Project Manager Level 3 from RC_ARINC in December 2013, Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute in June 2012, Professional Management from the Community College of the Air Force in January 2012, and Network+ from CompTIA in January 2004.
