Senior Scientist at F2G

Corinne P. has a diverse work experience. In 2020, they began working as a Senior Scientist and Research Mycologist for F2G. In 2019, they were self-employed as an Academic Tutor, tutoring science and maths both in-person and online for a variety of students between the ages of 12 and 35 years old. In 2018, they worked as a Postdoctoral Research Assistant at Hiroshima University. From 2013-2018, they worked at The Francis Crick Institute as a Graduate Student, researching how the S. pombe kinesin-8 complex functioned on the mitotic spindle and contributed to spindle morphology, chromosome segregation and mitotic progression. In 2013, they also worked as an Undergraduate Researcher at UCL Cancer Institute, studying the role of a LAR7-family protein and its role at telomeres. In 2012, they completed a Summer Internship at Birkbeck, University of London, investigating the structure of Hsp90 chaperone substrates.

Corinne P. began their educational journey at Fallibroome Academy, where they studied Biology, Chemistry and Mathematics. Corinne then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Sciences, General at UCL from 2010 to 2013. Following that, Corinne P. earned their Doctor of Philosophy in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology from UCL in 2018.
