Omar Marin

Omar Marin has worked in the medical field since 1998. Omar began their career at Sanatorio Mitre, where they held two roles as a Medico Infectologo. In 2003, they moved to Boehringer Ingelheim and worked as a Clinical Monitor Local and as a Regional Clinical Project Manager. In 2011, they began working at Janssen Cilag Pharmaceuticals as a Medical Manager Antiinfectives Southern LA Cluster. From 2013 to 2017, they worked at GlaxoSmithKline as a Medical Manager HIV Southern LA Cluster. Since 2017, they have been employed at ViiV Healthcare, where they have held four roles: Global Medical Affairs Director, ABPI Code signatory, Global Scientific Affairs Director, and Regional Scientific Advisor, International region. Most recently, in 2023, they began working at F2G as a Senior Director, Global Medical Affairs.

Omar Marin attended the University of Buenos Aires from 1987 to 1992, where they obtained a degree in Infectious Diseases. In 2007, they completed a Magistry in Clinical Research at the Universidad Abierta Interamericana, specializing in Clinical Research. Omar also has experience at Gsk, although no degree or certification was obtained.
