Matteo Vanazzi

Matteo Vanazzi is a Co-Founder and CTO of f3nice, an Innovative Start Up aiming to create a Circular Economy Ecosystem for the recycling of high-value metal components. From 2020, they have also been working as a Materials Engineering Specialist at Valland SpA. From 2015 to 2020, they were a Senior Research Fellow and Research Fellow at Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia, where they designed and manufactured advanced coatings for highly demanding applications. From 2017 to 2020, they were also an Assistant Lecturer at Politecnico di Milano.

Matteo Vanazzi obtained their Bachelor's degree from Politecnico di Milano in Materials Engineering and Nanotechnology between 2009 and 2013. Matteo then went on to earn their Master's degree in Nuclear Engineering from the same university between 2013 and 2015. Finally, they received their Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Energy and Nuclear Science and Technology from Politecnico di Milano in 2019.
