Collin Murphy is a seasoned hardware engineer with extensive experience in designing and developing complex systems. Currently serving as a Senior Principal Hardware Engineer at F5 Networks since January 2015, Collin specializes in creating network appliances utilizing Xilinx Ultrascale+ and Intel Stratix 10 FPGAs, along with Intel x86 CPU architectures, while leading aspects of schematic capture, layout oversight, and validation. Prior to F5 Networks, Collin was a Principal Electrical Engineer at Dell, where responsibilities included schematic and layout leadership for x86 server designs, with a focus on prototype bringup and debugging. Earlier experience at National Instruments involved board-level industrial systems design with various high-speed buses. Collin's career commenced in the US Army as a Sergeant, focusing on mobile subscriber equipment operations. Collin holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Washington.
