Connor Hicks

Connor Hicks is an accomplished technology professional with extensive experience in software development and architectural roles. Currently serving as an Architect for NGINX at F5 since July 2023, Connor is responsible for setting technical direction and fostering developer growth across various NGINX products and teams. Prior to joining F5, Connor founded Suborbital Software Systems in June 2021, which later became part of F5 in 2023. Previous roles include a notable tenure at 1Password from November 2015 to June 2021, where Connor progressed through multiple positions, ultimately leading product discovery initiatives. Earlier experiences include roles at WordPress and Cassidian Communications, focusing on API development and test automation, respectively. Connor holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Carleton University.
