Jonathan Chen

Jonathan Chen has extensive experience in software architecture and engineering, currently serving as an Architect at F5 Networks since June 2015, focusing on SSL Orchestrator, a security product tailored for TLS interception and service chaining. Previously, Jonathan worked as a Senior Architect at Trend Micro and as a Senior Principal Software Engineer at F5 Networks prior to that. Jonathan's career also includes contributions as an Advanced Software Engineer at ZyXEL Communications, where responsibilities included architecting a Unified Threat Management security appliance, and a Research Intern at HRL Laboratories, where research focused on threshold cryptography. In addition to professional roles, Jonathan served as President of the Monte Jade Science & Technology Association - Asian American Chapter. Jonathan holds both a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Computer Sciences from The University of Texas at Austin.
