Max Austen

Max Austen is an experienced technology professional with a strong background in mobile solutions, software engineering, and business development. Currently serving as the Lead of the Mobile Solutions Team at F5 since January 2019, Max handles escalations, provides onboarding support, and collaborates with product managers and engineering teams to enhance mobile solutions. Previous roles include Solutions Architect at F5, where Max implemented and deployed anti-bot protection specifically for mobile, and Software Engineer at Seva, focusing on OAuth authorization components and developing a Docker-deployable application. Additionally, Max co-founded CareTV, creating customized streaming solutions for dementia patients, and has held engineering and management positions at Akamai Technologies and Uplevel Security, contributing to major initiatives in cloud computing and cybersecurity. Max holds a Bachelor's Degree in Physics from The City College of New York.
