Ali Shafi has had a successful career in the technology industry. In 2021, they became the Managing Partner/Co-Founder of Lombard Partners. From 2011 to 2021, they were the Managing Partner/Co-Founder of FabExchange, Inc., a leading global advisor for the disposition of advanced technology manufacturing and cleanroom assets. From 2011 to 2021, they were also a Member of the Board of Directors at Metra Computer LLC, a leading distributor in the Middle East in sales, marketing, and logistics for the IT industry. From 1995 to 2011, they were the Managing Partner/Co-Founder of ESG Consulting, where they were instrumental in the company's growth from a small $12 million company to an over $90 million company with 12 US locations and abroad in less than 4 years. Ali also led the firm to become an award-winning staffing/recruiting company, specializing in IT and software engineering, and was responsible for overall business direction, sales, strategy, and services offerings across the US and Emerging Markets.

Ali Shafi attended Ain Shams University School of Engineering, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Engineering. Ali then attended the University of California, Berkeley, where they earned a Master's degree in Computer Science. Finally, they attended Stanford University, where they earned a Management Science and Engineering degree in Business Administration and Management, General.
