Max Tims

Max Tims has had a varied and impressive work experience. In 2011, they worked as a Cook (seasonal) at Una Pizza + Wine, where they developed a strong focus and calmness in the high stress kitchen and honed their ability to work efficiently under time constraints. In 2012 and 2013, they worked as a Geophysical Technician at SJ Geophysics Ltd. and DMT Geosciences, respectively, where they were responsible for assistance with all roles of ground-based data collection, and office roles such as processing seismic refraction tomography data, coupling various geophysical surveys for interpretation, and construction of 2D models. In 2015, they worked as Manager, Client Care and Technical Support at Bench Accounting, where they lead teams that coordinated, triaged, and generated solutions for thousands of clients and over 300 employees across multiple Sales, Operations, Product, and Engineering teams. In 2018, they worked as Director Revenue Operations and Strategy at Unbounce, where they were the global leader in SMB conversion optimization. In 2019, they became Co-Founder of Fable Home, a lifestyle brand designing and delivering products that transform how you eat at home. Finally, in 2020, they were part of the 2020 Class of Techstars Toronto for Fable Home, where they worked to bring joy to every meal.

Max Tims obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) from The University of British Columbia in 2013 with a major in Physics and a minor in Geophysics. Max also holds certifications from Enform, Keyano College, Danatec, HSE Integrated, and Occupational First Aid Level 1. These certifications include ENFORM Bear Awareness, OSSA Regional Orientation, Petroleum Safety Training (PST 2.0), WHMIS, Transportation Endorsement, H2S Alive (Enform), and Ice Safety / Cold Water Rescue.
