Daniela Roeper, P. Eng., has a diverse work experience in the engineering field. From 2012 to 2014, they worked as an Engineering Technologist at ORTECH Consulting Inc, where they gained extensive knowledge in auditing solar farms, researching renewable energy, conducting wind resource assessments, and managing documentation for solar farm projects. In 2015, they worked as a Research Assistant at Technische Universität Berlin, where they assisted with experiments and data analysis related to combustion reactions. Since 2016, Daniela has been the Founder & CEO of Borealis Wind, a company that specializes in blade de-icing retrofit for wind turbines. Under their leadership, the company has successfully developed and installed systems at wind farms across Canada, and is now expanding into international markets. In addition to their roles, Daniela has also demonstrated excellent communication and organizational skills throughout their career.
Daniela Roeper, P. Eng. completed their education from 2011 to 2015 at The University of British Columbia. Daniela earned a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering with a Minor in Commerce.
