Mark Begert is the CEO of FabuLingua, a company that provides language education services. Prior to their current position, Begert served on the board of Meridian Solar, Inc., where they were responsible for the design and construction of over 650 installations with an installed capacity of over 50 MW across thirteen states. Mark also served as a principal at Long Branch Capital, where they were responsible for the investment strategy and finance and operational support of portfolio companies specializing in the clean energy economy. In addition, Begert served on the board of ChinaEdu Corp., where they were asked to assume a board seat allocated to venture investor Level Global to provide guidance and support in the preparation of ChinaEdu's IPO in 2007. Begert has also held positions as CFO and Director at Linktone and VP - Corporate Finance and Investor Relations at Intrinsic Technology. Mark began their career as Vice President - Debt Capital Markets at Merrill Lynch in 1994.
Mark Begert has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Government and International Relations from Harvard University. Mark also has a bachelors degree from Highland Park HS - Dallas, TX.
