Sound Designer at Meta

Mark Lee has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Mark began their career as a Cashier in the video department at Tower Records from 1990 to 1993. During this time, they were responsible for operating the cash register. Following this, they worked as an Archives Technician at the National Archives from 1990 to 1991. In 1993, they joined KFRC as a Board Operator/Engineer until 1995. Mark also worked as a Production Engineer at kycy from May 1994 to September 1994. Mark then joined WaveGroup Sound in 1994 as the Director of Engineering, where they worked until 2014. During this time, they held various roles and responsibilities in managing sound design projects. In 2005, Mark started working as a freelance Audio Producer for Call to Freedom, Intl., a position they held until 2014. In 2006, they joined Digital Praise, where they primarily worked on DVD and audio production, including video editing and audio post-production for promotional videos and interactive DVD projects. Mark later joined Meta in 2014 as a Sound Designer and was promoted to the role of Sound Design Manager in 2016. Mark served in this managerial position until December 2021.

Mark Lee attended San Francisco State University from 1989 to 1994, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Audio Production with a focus on Radio & Television.
