Ravish Mehra is a Director of Audio Research for RL at Meta. Prior to this, they worked as a research assistant at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where they worked on physically-based sound propagation, efficient HRTF computation, and massively scalable numerical solvers. Ravish also worked as a research scholar at The University of British Columbia, where they worked on shape abstraction for man-made shapes. In addition, Ravish has interned at Microsoft Research three times, working on various research projects relating to audio and sound propagation.
Ravish Mehra earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Computer Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Ravish also holds a Master of Science (MS) in Computer Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) in Computer Science and Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi.
