Sergio M.

Sergio M. has a diverse work experience in the field of software development. Sergio is currently working at Facephi as a Senior Backend Developer, where they have been since 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Backend Developer at Facephi from 2021 to 2021.

In 2023, Sergio took on the role of Tech-Lead Engineering Products at Facephi, where they served as an interim technical leader in the development of biometrics solutions for prominent platforms. Sergio carried out this role alongside their university studies at the Universidad Politécnica de Valencia.

Before joining Facephi, Sergio worked as a Software Engineer Assistant at GROMEP UPV starting from 2022. This position allowed him to contribute their skills and knowledge to the group of Spontaneous Generation GROMEP at the Universitat Politècnica de Valencia. Sergio collaborated with their team in various initiatives, including university competitions like EUROBOT, which provided valuable experiences in new fields of interest for their professional career.

Sergio also has experience as a Backend Developer at GESIO - TPV Online from 2020 to 2021, and as a Freelance Software Engineer from 2020 to 2020. Additionally, they worked as an Analyst of Systems in the Telephony Department at Aire Networks del Mediterráneo in 2019, and as a Systems Administrator in the IT Department at DAMA ENERGIA SL from 2019 to 2019.

Sergio M. began their education at IES Severo Ochoa, where they obtained a Técnico en Sistemas Microinformáticos y Redes degree in the field of Ciclo Formativo de Grado Medio. Sergio attended this school from 2017 to 2019.

Following that, Sergio M. pursued a Tecnico Superior en Desarrollo en Aplicaciones Multiplataforma degree at the same institution, IES Severo Ochoa, from 2019 to 2021.

Currently, Sergio M. is enrolled in the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV) pursuing a Grado en Ingeniería Informática degree in the field of Ingeniería informática. Sergio started their studies in 2021 and is expected to complete them in 2025.

In addition to their formal education, Sergio M. has obtained several certifications. Sergio completed a Curso de Programación Funcional con Java SE in Platzi in March 2021. In April 2020, they completed a course on Implementación de soluciones en Microsoft Azure at Udemy. In January 2020, they obtained a Certificado de finalización del curso de Docker, also from Udemy. Lastly, in August 2017, Sergio M. completed a Curso en Productividad Personal en la Era Digital offered by Fundación Santa María la Real del Patrimonio Histórico.
